When should I start using cloth diaper?

Most people with a baby on the way have a question on their mind, when should I start using cloth diapers:

Many of the suggestions they receive are that cloth diaper should be used since day one instead of disposable diapers. It is really personal preference though!

We suggest that you give it some time. Don't jump up on cloth diapers or Lil Helper from day one.

There are few reasons for that:

- You need to let your baby meconium pass. Now, what's "Meconium", please don't google it or you'll say eeew!! It's a tar like poop which comes out from new born baby after the birth. Let the meconium get passed in the disposables.

- The other thing is, give yourself time to recover and adjust. With a new baby in the house, there are millions of things to figure out for the baby.

We suggest using disposables for 10 to 15 days until everything is settled. Think of cloth diapering when you are comfortable with the baby in the house. This is when you think of Lil Helper, where with our amazing customer service we help you to start! Give us an email, a call, we are always more than happy to help. We will help you through the process of cloth diapering.

Once you feel ready to start, give it a go!

 GOOD LUCK!!
