It can be so bittersweet to pack away our favourite diapers, and we may long for the day that we can take them back out of storage so that we can once again admire their beauty and softness.

When that day comes, we want our diapers to be in tip top shape and ready to go, and here is how to do that!

When storing the diapers, our main concern is always elastics. We need to store the diapers with lots of air flow! So you can store in a pillow case, or a mesh laundry bag etc. We never want them stored in a sealed container. If air flow is cut off it will cause the elastics to dry up and get that delightful crunching sound that signals the end of their life cycle.

Aside from that, some people like to give their inserts a good strip before storing, but if you had a solid wash routine you can just make sure a all your diapers are clean and dry before storing away. Then when they are ready to be used again, you can give them a good washing and they should be ready to use again!
