As with any of our waterproof items, we recommend you air dry your Lifesaver Mats and Sleepsaver Mattress Protectors. This will keep them waterproof for many years to come. With proper care, our products can and have lasted folks more than 10 years!
But we know life happens. So, if you are in a rush you can definitely toss them in the dryer, we recommend tumble dry low. Check on them often, as prolonged heat exposure can damage the waterproofing.
But don't worry, that waterproof PUL material cannot shrink.
Ensure items are fully dry before storing, to avoid mold and mildew build up.
Our favourite way to dry? A drape across a sturdy drying rack in the sun is a sure fire way to prevent mildew, stains, and damage. And who doesn't love the chance to soak up some vitamin D?

Can I put them in the dryer? Will they shrink or lose waterproofing?
