Tips for storing your mat or mattress protector when not in use

First and foremost, always make sure your mats and mattress protectors are COMPLETELY DRY before storing. Remember, these bad boys are designed to absorb and lock in moisture and feel dry to the touch, so when in doubt, leave them hanging to dry an extra half day when you can!

Store like you would any bedding, in a dry area. It is best if storing for an extended time (months or years) to ensure air flow and that items are not too harshly compressed. This will help protect the integrity of the waterproof materials. Storing inside a cotton pillowcase (to protect from dust) in a linen closet or open lid tote bucket is ideal for proper airflow.

Avoid storing your mats and mattress protectors anywhere that they will be exposed to extreme temperatures for extended periods, like inside a car on a hot day. This will make sure the waterproof backing does it's job for many years to come!
