Switching to reusable pads? First of all—welcome to the soft side. Whether you’re rocking HyPs Original, Active, WoW, or Teen, creating a simple routine makes your day (and night) a whole lot easier. Here’s how to keep things fresh, leak-free, and stress-free.

And we might as well answer the question we get most right away - no, cloth pads don't smell. We get it, this is a worry for many making the switch but truly, you can use these at home or on the go and not fear odors. Check out this video for more:

🌞 Daytime Routine

  1. Start Fresh – Snap a clean pad into your underwear and go be your fabulous self.

  2. Swap as Needed – When it’s time, remove the soiled pad and replace it with a fresh one. Easy peasy.

  3. Quick Rinse (If You Can) – If there’s a sink handy, rinse the used pad in cold running water until the water runs clear. Can’t rinse right away? No worries—just tuck it into a Lil Helper Combo Bag and keep living your best life.

  4. Home Base – Once you’re back home, rinse any pads you couldn't get to before and transfer rinsed pads (unsnapped so they have air flow and you don't forget on wash day!) into a larger wetbag until laundry day.

  5. Pro Tip – Line your wetbag with a mesh laundry bag. On wash day, you can just grab the whole thing and toss it in the machine.

🌙 Nighttime Routine

Sleep like the eco-friendly royalty you are.

  • Pick the HyPs size that gives you confidence—Heavy or Max are great overnight champs.

  • Want extra peace of mind? Pair your pad with a Lil Helper Lifesaver Mat so even if you toss, turn, or starfish, your sheets stay squeaky clean.

Reusable pads aren’t just good for the planet—they’re cozy, cost-saving, and surprisingly low-maintenance. Build a simple routine, and you’ll wonder why you ever settled for crinkly disposables in the first place.
