Using Lil Helper's G Tube Pad & Port Cover

Life with a G-tube can feel like you’ve suddenly added a whole new department to your daily operations: Laundry & Leak Management. Enter Lil Helper’s Reusable G-Tube Pad and Port Cover—two little heroes designed to keep you (and your clothes, furniture, and sanity) dry, comfy, and just a little less stressed.

Our G-Tube Pads are soft, square, and super-absorbent. The blue side, a stay dry bamboo blend, wicks away moisture, a thirsty middle layer soaks up leaks, and a waterproof backing stops dribbles from making a break for it. A snap paired with an elastic strap means no scratchy Velcro or sticky adhesives, just a gentle hug around the site.

The Port Cover is like the Pad’s minimalist cousin—smaller and snugger, made to sit right over the port for a streamlined seal. Think of it as a little raincoat for your connection site: waterproof, absorbent, and discreet under clothes when you want less bulk but still need protection. These subtle helpers are perfect for keeping port connections clean and secure - the dual clip secures the cover to tube/clothing, so you've got one less thing to worry about.

Designed with empathy in mind, this tiny team keeps you comfortable over and over again without sticking - a big upgrade from disposable cotton gauze.

When it’s time to swap out a G-Tube Pad or Port Cover, remove any heavy soiling with a rinse under cold running water. Toss your pads and port covers into a Wet Bag until laundry day. Wash in a Mesh Laundry Bag so they don't get lost in your machine's filter. Wash with warm or cold water and your regular detergent (skip bleach, fabric softeners, and dryer sheets to keep them absorbent). Air-dry or tumble on low and they’ll be fresh, leak-fighting, and ready for duty again in no time.

Because whether you’re managing a fresh site or wrangling a wiggly toddler who thinks tubes are tug toys, Lil Helper’s G-Tube gear keeps leaks where they belong—not on you.
