Are they tested for absorbency and leak protection?

Did you know that Mohammed our CEO and product creator was a rocket scientist before starting Lil Helper? That's why we create and test entire systems of engineered essentials that truly stand up to your messy moments.

💧 Real-World Absorbency Tests

Each pad is tested for how much liquid it can hold without leaking or feeling soggy. We check for:

  • Absorbency capacity – from light liners to heavy or overnight use.

  • Speed of absorption – so liquid is locked away fast, keeping the surface dry.

  • Even distribution – because no one likes the “bunched-up” feeling.

In plain English: we make sure they can handle what life throws (or leaks) at them.

🧪 Lab + Life Approved

Our fabrics are Oeko-Tex and CPSIA certified, meaning they’re independently tested for safety and performance. Then, we do our own in-house testing with real people (because lab beakers don’t have periods or bladder leaks).

We've been using these same materials for over a decade to make high performing absorbent products like cloth diapers so we know exactly what their strengths and weaknesses are and we've thought of every detail from flow indicator tabs on our HyPs to anti-slip silicon dots for wingless options. We got you.

🚫 No Leaks, No Worries

Between the absorbent bamboo terry core and waterproof PUL backing, leaks don’t stand a chance. Whether it’s a heavy period day or a surprise sneeze situation, these pads have your back (and your butt).

TLDR:
Yes—they’re tested, trusted, and proven. HyPs and Indiewear pads deliver reliable absorbency and leak protection you can count on, without the bulk or worry.
